Hey all! A belated heads up that I will be back at uni for a week as of Wednesday. I still have a ton of readings to do before than so all my spare moments that are usually reserved for pretendy fun times have been taken up with those. I'll still be around, just extra slow for a while. Thanks for putting up with me!

Also what does it say about a person when their phone autocorrects "pretendy" into caps? Good things, I hope.

Cessily broke 3000 comments on LJ right before the move, which makes her my first character to ever... do that... at CFUD. So, in celebration of this fact, have a meme!

OKAY GUYS TELL ME THINGS AND I WILL UPDATE THIS.

I have had some family stuff happening over the last few weeks. In combination with other things, that's lead me to not really feel like playing or thinking, or doing anything much more than watch DVDs and play video games.

I'm trying to get myself back into it all now, but it's still kind of going on so I'm going to be flakier than usual. Please feel free to poke me if I miss a thread pickup, or make a particularly ridiculous typo, or anything. This applies to Elspeth even more than Cess, as she is generally harder for me to play.

This is an FYI, as I'm aware I've been incredibly scarce and probably rather annoying to thread with recently. Basically, my internet situation is pretty terrible! I moved house a few months ago now, and I have a little stick of glorious wireless internet that came with me. Whilst it worked just fine at my old place, it does not like my new location very much at all, to the point where I basically can't access the internet in the evenings. I think it's a peak time thing because my internet provider cannot give me a better explanation and really, nothing else has changed but my location. I am basically at the point where I don't even turn on my computer in the evening now because it times out so often that there is just no point in even trying. Accessing irc or gchat is like... well, I don't even have an adequate metaphor for how impossible it is.

So right now, I am reduced to being a work ninja, and occasionally playing around on the weekend... which is also something of a peak time! So my frustration levels are high. Really, just know that if it is taking me a long time to reply to your comment, this is the only reason why. I would love to play Cess around more, but I also value my sanity.
