This is an FYI, as I'm aware I've been incredibly scarce and probably rather annoying to thread with recently. Basically, my internet situation is pretty terrible! I moved house a few months ago now, and I have a little stick of glorious wireless internet that came with me. Whilst it worked just fine at my old place, it does not like my new location very much at all, to the point where I basically can't access the internet in the evenings. I think it's a peak time thing because my internet provider cannot give me a better explanation and really, nothing else has changed but my location. I am basically at the point where I don't even turn on my computer in the evening now because it times out so often that there is just no point in even trying. Accessing irc or gchat is like... well, I don't even have an adequate metaphor for how impossible it is.

So right now, I am reduced to being a work ninja, and occasionally playing around on the weekend... which is also something of a peak time! So my frustration levels are high. Really, just know that if it is taking me a long time to reply to your comment, this is the only reason why. I would love to play Cess around more, but I also value my sanity.

Headcanon for Cess?

... I have a whole gdoc for this so I will get back to you. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WAITING TO ASK THIS QUESTION?

Since you agreed to app Cess. One thing you want to see her do in the comics?

Well she already told her parents to get stuffed, otherwise that would have been the answer. So, I want the team to reform properly so she can reunite with her not!bro and the rest of the family, and they can all live miserably ever after. I really do need to read what came after the proper series though.

One canon you've never pimped at me before that I should read/watch/absorb?

This is hard because we have known each other for a very long time. But I think I'll go with Charles Stross' Laundry series. It is basically the story of Bob Howard, an IT geek for the British government who is part of the department that deals with eldritch abominations. He spends most of his time being the good bond girl while his girlfriend is James Bond. It takes him a while to realise this is the case. It's surprisingly enjoyable and occasionally quite unsettling!

Who would you top me into apping if you had infinite topping abilities?

Well if I still played Rick I would top you into apping Glenn, but that never worked. SO. I would instead top you into apping from SJA or Obernewtyn with me.

What made you decide to app Cessily?

There was a plurk meme ages ago where people told me who I should app from each of their canons. Ronan told me I should app Cessily, and AJ agreed, so I read the comics and thought she was cool in the second half, but I wanted to app another character first! Then I got eaten by work and forgot about apping altogether.

And then Ronan nagged me to read it again and I decided to app Cess first instead of that other character, mainly because there is this moment where she tells Julian to grow up and starts to really grow into herself a little more and understands people and is inclusive and... idk she was just really adorable.

REVERSE! What made you decide to app Cat?

She's tied with Jade for my favorite character in Victorious and I wanted to app again but I knew that I didn't have lots of free time because of school demands, and I figured Cat would be hilarious to play in Camp and also easy enough to not have to devote lots of braining for most of the time.

Who was the other character?

TOP SECRET! I may still app that character... one day. It could happen.

Who is one character you really want in camp for a completely ridiculous reason?

The more I think of the hilarious things a Patsy Stone could get up to the more I want someone that is not me to app her.

Cat's favorite moment was when she turned into a unicorn.

Probably when her mutation disappeared for a day or so and she pigged out on junk food and painted her nails and did lots of silly things.

Cess thinks Terezi is pretty cool, if just a little bit weird. But Cessily is totally okay with anyone whose a little bit weird, because she thinks of herself as a little bit weird too. I think she'd like to get to know her better and find out more about her world and all that stuff.

Terezi thinks Cess is pretty cool! She thinks Julian is pretty cool most of the time, so any friend of his automatically gets some cool points. She's also really interested in the fact that Cessily is made of metal, because it smells weird! And it's something she's never encountered other than LOL ROBOTS! So she's interesting and Terezi definitely wants to talk to her more.

RELATIONSHIP ME

I did not forget you!

Cessily's thoughts on The Breeze are weirdly both complicated and very simple. It's funny because during Cess' intro post, she was initially on edge because of the comment on her appearance. I was chatting to Ronan at the time and I was laughing because of how Cess had started on a good footing with Vanya and on... not the best footing with The Breeze! Which I found amusing because obviously, Julian has very different opinions of the two.

ANYWAY since then they have talked more and Cess has got over her initial reaction. And of course, Julian's opinion counts very highly as well, which is the simple part. I actually sort of assume the three of them spend a fair amount of time together, training and beating up monsters and so on. So she is part of their little mutant family.

Also we really need to thread again soon because I realise that I hiatus'd right at a POKE POKE moment and that probably had repercussions or something. idk WE SHOULD TALK.

Brianna likes Cessily a lot and thinks she's really awesome. Cess is a cool, nice older girl who's also a hero and can kick ass and Brianna pretty much idolizes people like that! She wants to ask Cess for advice on everything and pry her for information about Marvel-world, because Julian is moody and selectively witholds information. Cessily just seems more receptive to her being an annoying twelve year old in general, which is always good.

She also realizes that she was an asshole when they first met each other with the "WHY DO YOU LOOK LIKE THAT :I" comment and hopes that Cess wasn't too mad about it. She has a hard time with the brain-to-mouth filter and there aren't a lot of kids in the FAYZ with visible mutations, so she was just like, "!!!" without thinking. As usual!

What's Cess's most surprising CR so far?

I don't know if anything has been particularly surprising as yet, probably because I've been a bit scarce lately so potentially surprising things have lapsed. But every conversation with Dave Strider has been awesome and given he started out comparing her to Robert Patrick and claiming to be a cannibal, I'm going to give that as my answer.
