needs_a_hg | (no subject)

This is an FYI, as I'm aware I've been incredibly scarce and probably rather annoying to thread with recently. Basically, my internet situation is pretty terrible! I moved house a few months ago now, and I have a little stick of glorious wireless internet that came with me. Whilst it worked just fine at my old place, it does not like my new location very much at all, to the point where I basically can't access the internet in the evenings. I think it's a peak time thing because my internet provider cannot give me a better explanation and really, nothing else has changed but my location. I am basically at the point where I don't even turn on my computer in the evening now because it times out so often that there is just no point in even trying. Accessing irc or gchat is like... well, I don't even have an adequate metaphor for how impossible it is.

So right now, I am reduced to being a work ninja, and occasionally playing around on the weekend... which is also something of a peak time! So my frustration levels are high. Really, just know that if it is taking me a long time to reply to your comment, this is the only reason why. I would love to play Cess around more, but I also value my sanity.

I did not forget you!

Cessily's thoughts on The Breeze are weirdly both complicated and very simple. It's funny because during Cess' intro post, she was initially on edge because of the comment on her appearance. I was chatting to Ronan at the time and I was laughing because of how Cess had started on a good footing with Vanya and on... not the best footing with The Breeze! Which I found amusing because obviously, Julian has very different opinions of the two.

ANYWAY since then they have talked more and Cess has got over her initial reaction. And of course, Julian's opinion counts very highly as well, which is the simple part. I actually sort of assume the three of them spend a fair amount of time together, training and beating up monsters and so on. So she is part of their little mutant family.

Also we really need to thread again soon because I realise that I hiatus'd right at a POKE POKE moment and that probably had repercussions or something. idk WE SHOULD TALK.

Also, reverse?

YES. WE SHOULD THREAD AGAIN SOON. And I am always up for talking with people. /o/

Brianna likes Cessily a lot and thinks she's really awesome. Cess is a cool, nice older girl who's also a hero and can kick ass and Brianna pretty much idolizes people like that! She wants to ask Cess for advice on everything and pry her for information about Marvel-world, because Julian is moody and selectively witholds information. Cessily just seems more receptive to her being an annoying twelve year old in general, which is always good.

She also realizes that she was an asshole when they first met each other with the "WHY DO YOU LOOK LIKE THAT :I" comment and hopes that Cess wasn't too mad about it. She has a hard time with the brain-to-mouth filter and there aren't a lot of kids in the FAYZ with visible mutations, so she was just like, "!!!" without thinking. As usual!

What's Cess's most surprising CR so far?

I don't know if anything has been particularly surprising as yet, probably because I've been a bit scarce lately so potentially surprising things have lapsed. But every conversation with Dave Strider has been awesome and given he started out comparing her to Robert Patrick and claiming to be a cannibal, I'm going to give that as my answer.
