The whiteboard contains such helpful things like "Don't die", "Don't dismember Victor", "Don't tear peoples souls apart". It is the most helpful. And yes! i assume on the other side of the whiteboard is the timeline. It's probably maintained mostly by Julian given that he's one of the people from the furtherest point in canon, and the timeline is pretty blunt as to what it refers to.

Julian has also boarded up his window because that's how he rolls. Basically there's a whole bunch of stuff in Julian's room that suggest you don't want to go in there. He's also blown the light and refuses to fix it.
