Oh! I should babble things back to you, because in a weird way, Rogue actually kind of liked talking to Cess because she thought she could have helped her. Or...wanted to at least. Um...Cessily's history with boys kind of totally reminds me of Rogue's because of the way Rogue followed Scott around like a lost puppy even though he CLEARLY had eyes only for Jean. And same thing with the guys in Camp. When Wally and Julian called Rogue hot she was like...but I'm not...they must be joking those jerks (which is why she gets so pissy about it).

And once Rogue got over the deer in the headlights feeling, and realized that Cessily actually needed help and wasn't just babbling like Kitty did ("and then he said this, and I said this, and then he laughed, omg Rogue he laughed!") she kind of really wanted Cess to get the guy. Because she knows Cess is pretty. Like, Jean Grey pretty in her mind. But Cess is still really self-conscious and Rogue sees that because she feels the same way. She basically connects with Cess a lot more than she did with Jean. The problem is that Rogue really doesn't know how to help Cess, because she doesn't have any experience with actually getting the guy. I mean, she asked Scott out a couple times, but...it didn't work out either time. So she doesn't want to just say go right out and ask him (even if that might actually work in this case), because that did not work for her. So basically, Rogue is kind of like...thanks for talking to me, it's just not gonna get you anywhere. :/

BUT ROGUE IS ROOTING FOR YOU CESS! So she can live vicariously through your love life Cess is pretty and totally has what it takes to get the guy and if he turns her down, Rogue is willing to shank him in retaliation. :|b
